The promotions tell the story better than any rivalry would. In 2018/19 the club won the Regionalliga Ost without losing a match, dropping only five sets all season — a campaign that had come a year after finishing runner-up in the same division. Liga Ost title that followed another second-place finish, in 2022/23.
Sabine Nemitz has been named MVP in a 3. The team now competes in the 2. Bundesliga South, still wearing the marine and royal blue that gave the club magazine its name, "Blaue Wand" — the Blue Wall.
