In the Molodezhnaya Liga, that approach paid off repeatedly — the team topped the table in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2019, and in 2019 added the Molodezhnaya Liga Cup as well.

Founded in 1983, the team entered the Soviet championship that same season. It later competed as Uralochka-2 and, for a spell, under the name Uraltransbank, finishing among the medallists in the Superliga through the 1990s — silver in 1998, 1999 and 2000, bronze in four other seasons — before dropping out of the top flight in 2002. Ekaterina Gamova passed through the side during that stretch, on her way from junior volleyball into a career that would take her to the Russian national team.

Results since have followed a steadier, less decorated pattern. In the Higher League A, the tier below Russia's Superliga, Uralochka-2-UrGEU took silver in 2021 and 2022, both times finished behind Severyanka, then settled lower down the table — ninth, eighth and seventh in the three seasons that followed. A run to the semi-final of the main Russian Cup in 2020, built on a five-set win over Proton, was as close as the team came to a senior trophy in that period.

Home matches are played at DIVS Uralochka, a 4,281-seat arena on Yeremin Street in Yekaterinburg — the same hall where the first team draws its own crowds.
