Third place in the Kansallinen Liiga in 2024 is the highest HPS Women have finished in Finland's top division. The 2020 Naisten Ykkönen title was the promotion season; before that, in 2016, the club had won its group in the Naisten Kakkonen, the third tier. Two promotions inside five seasons, then a bronze medal.
The women's side carries its green and white, along with the nickname Vihreät Jääkärit — the Green Rangers.
The climb through the second tier was built on goals. Ella Andberg finished top scorer in the Naisten Ykkönen in 2017 and again in 2018, and was named Helsinki's women's player of the year in the second of those seasons. When she stopped, Piipa Kämppi took over the scoring charts in 2019 and 2020 — the two seasons that ended in promotion. Kämppi was named the division's forward of the year in both, and in 2020 its player of the year outright.
