The Czech Women's Basketball Cup stands as the premier annual knockout competition for the sport in the Czech Republic. Organized by the Czech Basketball Federation (ČBF), the tournament offers a distinct pathway to silverware compared to the round-robin league format. It sits alongside the Czech Women's Basketball League as a primary national title, though it does not involve promotion or relegation.
The competition was established in 1995, following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. Prior to this, women's basketball in the region competed in the Czechoslovak Federal Cup. The format has evolved from a traditional knockout to a structure featuring preliminary rounds for lower-division teams, followed by a Final Four stage held in a single location over a weekend. The number of participating teams varies by season, generally including all Extraliga žen clubs and 1. liga žen clubs, plus qualifiers from lower divisions.
Winning the cup typically grants qualification for European competitions, specifically the FIBA Europe Cup or EuroCup Women, depending on the club's league standing and FIBA's annual allocation rules for the Czech Republic. BK Žabiny Brno is the most successful club, having won the title 20 times, including the inaugural 1995/96 season. Other notable winners include ZVVZ USK Praha with six titles, Sokol Hradec Králové, KP Brno, and DSK Basketball Nymburk. Recent winners include Sluneta Ústí nad Labem and BK Žabiny Brno.
