It has carried that name since 2000, a year after it began as NH Ostrava.

In the 2024/25 season the side reached two finals in different competitions and lost both. The Central Europe Women's League (CEWL) final went to Piešťanské Čajky, 81:69. In the European Women's Basketball League (EWBL) they lost 80:82 to Nyon Basket.

In the 2025/26 Czech Cup they beat KP Brno 87:81 for their first win in the competition, and Iva Beloševič was named most valuable player of the Final Four. In the CEWL they returned to the final and beat Sokol Hradec Králové 86:74, this time as champions.

The domestic league went less well. They finished the 2025/26 regular season fourth, reached the semifinals, and lost the bronze medal series to KP Brno 1–2, the same opponent they had beaten in the Cup.
