Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters

In the spring of 2021, Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters — then playing under the name Anyang KGC — swept Jeonju KCC Egis 4-0 in the Korean Basketball League final.

Ownership moved twice after that. Korea Tobacco & Ginseng Corporation (KT&G) bought the team in 2005 and renamed it Anyang KT&G Kites; in 2010 the club passed to KT&G's ginseng subsidiary, Korea Ginseng Corporation, and became Anyang KGC. The red that now leads the club's colours, alongside black and white, was chosen to match the packaging of Jung Kwan Jang, the ginseng brand that finally gave the team its current name in 2023: Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters .

Oh Se-keun has been on the floor for all four of those championships and was named the league's Most Valuable Player in the 2016-17 season, when Anyang beat Seoul Samsung Thunders in the final to complete what the KBL calls an Integration Championship — winning the regular season and the playoffs in the same year.

Wonju DB Promy supply the club's oldest rivalry, the Signal Light Derby. The team's 6,690-seat arena, Anyang Gymnasium, is known locally as the Jung Kwan Jang Arena.

Four KBL championships now belong to the club: 2012, 2017, 2021 and 2023.
