BK Duchess Klosterneuburg Women

Basketball at Klosterneuburg started in 1952 as a section of the local Klosterneuburger Sportverein, before splitting off a year later as its own club, 1. KBC. The women's side went its own way again in 1998, playing under names such as BK Tecto and BK Hornets, winning six Austrian Championships and five Cups in a row through 2003. In 2004 the team was folded back into the BK Klosterneuburg association as BK Duchess.

Home games are played at the Freizeitzentrum, a 1,000-seat hall known locally as Happyland or Dukes Castle. The club's nickname, Titelsammlerinnen, is not a marketing line so much as an accounting of results: two more championships came in 2021 and 2022, and the Cup was won four years running from 2019 to 2022, with a further final claimed in 2025.

His daughter Lisa Zderadicka was named the league's most valuable player in back-to-back seasons, 2020/21 and 2021/22, while playing alongside her sisters Anja and Pia. The club's fiercest matches are reserved for UBI Graz.

The most recent Cup win, in 2025, keeps Klosterneuburg's name on a trophy it has rarely let go of for long.
