Enisey

Jovica Arsić, a Serbian, has coached Enisey since 2023.

The club began in 1981 as Politekhnik, a team of the Krasnoyarsk Polytechnic Institute. In 1989 the Krastyazhmash plant took it onto its books and the name changed with the owner. In 1991 it became Eskavo. It has been Enisey since the autumn of 1993, and the fans and local press call the players Eniseytsy.

The route to the top was slow. Enisey won promotion to the Russian Super League in 1996/97 and went straight back down after one season. It then spent years in the second tier, finishing runners-up in Superleague B in 2004/05 and again in 2005/06. In 2006/07 it won the league and returned to the top flight.

The best years came later. Enisey took bronze in the Russian Cup in 2011. In 2015/16 it reached the semi-finals of the FIBA Europe Cup. Among the imports, Alex Renfro was named VTB United League MVP in December 2013. Sulaiman Brahim won the league's Best Sixth Man award in 2016/17.

The nearest thing to a local rival is Dynamo from Novosibirsk, in what are billed as Siberian derbies. Krasnoyarsk has no basketball derby of its own.

The club also produces its own players. Dmitry Sonko came through the youth academy, formerly SShOR Enisey and now the Enisey Basketball Academy, and captained the first team in 2025–26. Denis Zakharov, a VTB United League All-Star, had held the captaincy before him.
