When Huddinge's men beat Eskilstuna 2-1 in the Superettan final in 2026 to win the second tier. The women's side, playing three tiers lower in Basketettan Dam, has no such final to point back to — but it carries the same name, KFUM Huddinge Basketklubb.

That chairman, Jonas Morin, told the local paper Mitt i in 2026 that he had been running the club for 23 years, which puts its start around 2003.

The women's team plays out of Edbohallen, a school gymnasium in Trångsund, with extra seating brought in. Sekule Jovanovic took over as coach in 2024, following Simona Dobrovolskyté.

There is no trophy yet on the women's side to match what the men did against Eskilstuna. What there is, still, is that old kit from 2003, and a chairman who has kept count of the years since he first put a team on court.
