Limoges CSP U21

Beaublanc sits below the Vienne — capacity runs to 6,506, though the seated count is closer to 5,000.

Limoges CSP itself dates to 1929. The U21 side draws on that same infrastructure — coaching staff, facilities, a pathway rather than a separate identity — and its own honours list is modest by comparison: a Championnat de France Espoirs Pro B title in 2001 is the one trophy attached specifically to the young side, set against eleven French league championships won by the seniors.

What the academy has produced matters more than what it has won. Sekou Doumbouya passed through it on his way to the NBA, and players such as Paul Rigot and Thomas Cornely built long careers in Pro A and Pro B after starting there, evidence that the club's development work outruns the youth team's own trophy count.

When the U21s play, the fixture that means something is against Boulazac Basket Dordogne, a meeting known locally as the Derby Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Poitiers Basket 86 carries older rivalry with the senior club, but it is Boulazac, close enough for the trip to mean nothing logistically and everything competitively, that the young Cerclistes are measured against now.
