Carmen Miloglav wears the captain's armband for a team that has stopped losing at home in any way that matters: four straight Croatian championships between 2020–21 and 2023–24 came under her lead, and the club has settled into a rhythm few in Dubrovnik basketball have known before.

Ragusa grew out of St Blaise's Day in 1994 — Dubrovnik's own patron-saint feast, and the date the club's founders chose on purpose rather than by accident. Three decades on, the choice reads less like a gesture and more like a claim on the city's identity.

The run of titles did not arrive out of nowhere. Ragusa had already picked up a regional trophy, the Women's Adriatic Friendship League, back in 2014–15, and a third-place finish in the WABA League in 2007–08 showed a club capable of matching pace with the wider region well before the domestic league fell into its hands. The Croatian Cup has followed a similar pattern of returning to Dubrovnik: won in 2021, again in 2023, and once more in 2026.

Games are played at Gospino polje, a hall that holds 1,400, in the red and white that Ragusa has carried since its founding. It is not a ground built for spectacle, and the club has never needed it to be — the basketball has done the talking.

Europe is where the story thins out. Two EuroCup Women campaigns, in 2022–23 and 2023–24, ended in the group stage both times, and a club that has made a habit of winning at home still has nothing to show from continental competition.
