Zadar Women

Croatian Championship and Cup of Croatia titles sit in the record of women's basketball in Zadar, along with a runner-up finish in 2016. None of that belongs to the club carrying the city's name onto the court today. ŽKK Zadar Plus is a separate outfit, founded in 2021 by Mladen Dražić, built alongside — and against — the older, historical Zadar side rather than as its continuation.

The Zadranke , as the club is known, play at Dvorana Krešimira Ćosića inside the Višnjik sports centre, a hall that holds 6,503 on fixed seats and stretches to 8,500 once the telescopic stands come out.

Marija Vrsaljko came up through the club's own academy and went on to represent Croatia at the Olympics. Hana Arnautović has already signed on for the 2026/27 season.
