The senior side meets them in the Lower Austria Derby. In 2024 the Young Lions reached the Under-19 Superliga Final Four and lost to the same Dukes, one year after they had won the title.

That title came in 2023, in a final decided by two points. Traiskirchen beat Vienna United 80:78, and David Hofstädter was named most valuable player. The team, also known as Young & Wild, feeds the senior side of the Traiskirchen Lions. Its own senior side plays in the Austrian Zweite Liga, the second tier, where the rivals are Vienna Timberwolves, Mattersburg Rocks, UBC Güssing Blackbirds and Dornbirn Lions. Below that, the younger age groups keep adding to the shelf: in 2024 the Under-14 boys won the Lower Austria state championship.

The parent club started in 1966 in Möllersdorf, when Pastor Friedrich Tscherney founded it as UKJ Möllersdorf. It moved to Traiskirchen in 2000 and has carried several names since, among them Arkadia Traiskirchen Lions and now druck.at Traiskirchen Lions. Its home is the Lions Dome, which holds 1,200 spectators.

The best-known player to pass through is Jakob Pöltl, who played for the senior team from 2012 to 2014 and then went to the NBA. Traiskirchen won its three Austrian championships in 1991, 1994 and 2000, and its three cups in 1997, 2000 and 2001.
