Vichy-Clermont

Basketball in Vichy took its present shape from a merger joining forces with Clermont-Ferrand to field one side under the Jeanne d'Arc banner. The club reverted to that older name, Jeanne d'Arc Vichy Basket, in October 2023.

The best of it came under Djordje Andrijašević, who coached the side from 1962 to 1970: two Coupe de France titles, in 1969 and 1970, won inside that same stretch. The Pro B championship followed later and more than once, in 1972, 2002 and 2007, and the club added the Pro B Leaders Cup in 2024.

Reece Gaines and Demetris Nichols have both worn the shirt.

What still marks the club out is that it never settled on one home. Matches are shared between the Palais des Sports Pierre Coulon in Vichy, holding 3,200, and the larger Maison des Sports in Clermont-Ferrand, which takes 4,534.
