About the player
Attila Csürös has spent his whole professional career at one club. He came through the Csíkszereda youth academy and joined the senior squad in 2014. He has never played for another club.
That stretch covers the club's climb through the Romanian divisions. Csíkszereda won Liga III in 2018–19 and went up to Liga II, then in 2025 secured promotion to Liga I, the top flight. Csürös was in the squad for that promotion, as he was for the earlier ones.
His role has changed as the club has grown. He plays as a defensive midfielder and can also line up at centre-back. Before he wore the armband he served as vice-captain. In recent seasons, 2024 to 2026, he has been captain of CSM Csíkszereda.
His honours are all with the club. He has not been capped by Romania or any other national team, and his career is tied to Csíkszereda rather than to a string of moves.
