About the player
Four Hungarian league titles in four seasons at Ferencváros is the line that stands out in Lóránd Pászka's career. He was born in Târgu Secuiesc, in Romania, and started out at Nemere Poian and the Nagy Mózes sports club in his home town before crossing into Hungary to join Szeged 2011 in 2013.
He spent six years there, playing for the senior side and the reserves, and had a loan spell at Várfürdő-Gyulai Termál in 2015. Szeged won the Nemzeti Bajnokság III in 2018–19, the last of those six seasons, and he left that summer on a free transfer for Soroksár SC. He became a key player there over three years.
In 2022 Ferencvárosi TC signed him, again on a free transfer. The timing was good: he had already won the Magyar Kupa in 2021–22, and the league titles followed in 2022–23, 2023–24 and 2024–25, added to the one from 2021–22. Around the time of the move, national team coach Marco Rossi had been watching him, though Pászka has not won a senior cap for Hungary.
The 2024–25 season brought a change. In February 2025 he went on loan to Kecskeméti TE and made six appearances before returning to Ferencváros when the season ended. He did not stay long after that. In August 2025 he joined Csíkszereda and moved back to the Romanian league in the country where he was born.
