About the player
Ádám Czékus arrived at Csíkszereda in February 2026 as a free agent.
He came up through the Hungarian youth system, with spells at Pomáz, III. Kerületi TVE and Felcsút FC, and a loan to Videoton along the way. Hungary called on him at three age levels: U17, U19 and U21.
Abroad, his path took in Werder Bremen, with loans to Darmstadt 98, Ferencváros and FC Astana, and he later played for Astana outright. He then moved to Croatia and NK Osijek, and from there to Greece and Panathinaikos.
In 2024 Panathinaikos sent him on loan to Hajduk Split, so that he spent a season in Croatia for a second time, at a different club. In 2025 he signed for Grazer AK in Austria on a free transfer, and Csíkszereda followed the next February on the same terms.
He is 17 in the shirt numbers at Csíkszereda, where he is one of the club's forwards.
