About the player
Alexander Jensen won the Scottish Cup with Aberdeen in 2025 . The right-back joined Aberdeen from IF Brommapojkarna in January 2025 on a four-year contract. The fee was reported at about €650,000, rising to €1 million with add-ons.
He was in the FC Midtjylland youth system until 2015, then moved to Vejle BK and stayed until 2020. His senior debut for Vejle came that year, though it amounted to two appearances. He stayed until 2023 and played 77 matches for the club. Brommapojkarna in Sweden followed, and it was from there that Aberdeen signed him.
Jensen's time in Scotland ended in July 2026, when Aberdeen sold him to IF Elfsborg. The move was announced on 6 July and he joined the squad a week later, on 13 July. The fee was reported to be a six-figure sum, estimated at around £500,000 plus add-ons. He signed a contract with the Allsvenskan club that runs until the summer of 2030.
