About the player
Alioune Ndoye made his name in the 2025–26 Taça da Liga, and one moment in particular: with the final against Braga level, he scored in the 83rd minute to turn it into a 2–1 comeback win, handing Vitória Guimarães their first major trophy in over twelve years. He finished the tournament as its top scorer.
He started out at Teungueth FC in his native Senegal before moving to Valmiera FC, where he won the Latvian Higher League title. A loan spell followed at Servette in Switzerland. Guimarães made the move permanent instead.
He has not yet been capped by Senegal at senior level.
