Curtis Anthony Tilt

Curtis Tilt reached the Football League by way of the non-league game. He spent the years from 2012 to 2016 moving through Gornal Athletic, Tipton Town, Halesowen Town, Hednesford Town and AFC Telford United, before Wrexham signed him on a free transfer in June 2016. He played 31 league games there and went on loan to Forest Green Rovers in March 2017 for seven appearances.

Blackpool, who signed him on a free transfer that June, gave him a regular place. The left-footed centre-back played 99 league matches for the club and scored five goals before moving to Rotherham United in January 2020. He made one league appearance for Rotherham.

Instead, he spent much of his time there at Wigan Athletic on three consecutive loans. The first, from October 2020, brought 13 appearances. The second, from January 2021, brought 23 appearances and three goals. The third, from August 2021, brought eight appearances and two goals. Wigan signed him permanently in January 2022, and he played 38 times in 2022–23, scoring once.

Salford City signed him in July 2023 on a two-year deal. He played 45 league games in his first season and scored three goals, then made 37 league appearances in 2024–25. Bradford City took him on a free transfer in June 2025, and he played 32 league games in 2025–26. Burton Albion signed him in June 2026, and he has scored once in six appearances this season.

Born in Walsall, Tilt holds English and Jamaican citizenship and chose to play for Jamaica. His two caps both came in 2021. He was also an unused substitute for a friendly against Argentina in September 2022.
