About the player
Kamil Dudek's first senior start came in an EFL Trophy tie at Northampton Town on 12 November 2024, and Burton Albion won it 5–2.
He had come through the Burton academy, moving up through its Professional Development Phase. In July 2024 he signed his first professional contract, one of five academy players to do so that month. Game time followed almost at once: in August he went on loan to Alvechurch for three months, and he returned in November, in time for the Northampton match.
The 2025/26 season brought more first-team work. He started an EFL Cup second-round tie against Lincoln City on 26 August 2025, which Burton lost 0–1. Less than a month later he played in the EFL Trophy group stage against Nottingham Forest's under-21 side, a 1–1 draw. He has also made League One starts, including against Mansfield Town and Oxford United.
