Craig McGillivray

Craig McGillivray is a goalkeeper whose career has been defined by a relentless journey through the lower tiers of English football. He arrived at Milton Keynes Dons in July 2023 after a spell at Burton Albion, having moved on a free transfer.

His path to the senior squad was not straightforward. After starting at Stalybridge Celtic, he spent two years at Harrogate Town before a significant move to Walsall in 2014. A subsequent transfer to Shrewsbury Town in 2017 offered further experience, though his time there was brief.

One moment from his career stands out: his call-up to the Scotland senior squad in August 2019. The call came as he was an uncapped player, replacing Scott Bain.
