Milton Keynes Dons

Milton Keynes Dons have won one league title, and it came as part of a rare double: in 2007–08 the club topped League Two and lifted the Football League Trophy in the same campaign, a season that remains the high point of a short history. Smaller silverware came earlier still, the Berks & Bucks Senior Cup in 2006–07 and the Portimão Cup in 2004.

Promotion has arrived twice more without a trophy attached. The Dons finished runners-up in League One in 2014–15 and went up to the Championship through the play-offs, then finished runners-up in League Two in 2025–26 and were promoted straight to League One.

The academy's most notable departure was Dele Alli, sold to Tottenham Hotspur in 2015 for £5m. He came through at Stadium MK, an all-seater ground holding 30,500, where the team plays in white and gold under the nickname the Dons.

No fixture matters more than the meeting with AFC Wimbledon, known as the Dons derby. A shorter trip to Wycombe Wanderers for the Buckinghamshire derby carries less history behind it.

That history begins with Wimbledon, a club founded in London in 1889. It relocated to Milton Keynes in 2003 and was renamed Milton Keynes Dons the following year, while part of the old support rejected the move and started again as AFC Wimbledon.
