Cyrus Christie

Cyrus Christie has won two Championship play-off finals with Fulham, in 2018 and 2020, and both ended in promotion to the Premier League. Between the two he was sent on loan, first to Nottingham Forest, where he made 44 appearances in 2020–21, then to Swansea City, for 23 more the following season.

He came through the academy at his hometown club, Coventry City, and made his senior debut in 2010. Derby County signed him in 2014 for an undisclosed fee. Middlesbrough paid around £2.5 million for him in 2017.

For the Republic of Ireland he won 30 caps and scored twice between 2014 and 2022. The first goal came against Gibraltar in a Euro 2016 qualifier on 4 September 2015, and the second against Uruguay in a friendly on 4 June 2017. He was in the Ireland squad at Euro 2016 but did not play in any of the team's four matches.

Fulham let him go as a free agent in 2022 and he signed for Hull City, where he stayed until May 2024. Swansea City took him on a free transfer on 1 November 2024, and he played there until the end of that season. Bolton Wanderers gave him a one-year contract on 1 September 2025. The deal was ended by mutual consent on 28 August 2026, and on 1 September he joined the Vietnamese club Hanoi FC. He has made more than 450 league appearances in his career.
