Jack Bonham

Jack Bonham spent 2018–19 at Bristol Rovers on loan from Brentford. He finished with a save percentage of 91.5%, the best among first-choice goalkeepers in England at the time, and Rovers kept 18 clean sheets.

The loan was the fourth of Bonham's Brentford years. He joined the club on a free transfer in June 2013 after coming through the Watford academy. His first loans were at non-league level, at Harrow Borough in 2012 and Arlesey Town in 2013–14. In 2017–18 he went to Carlisle United, where his form in January 2018 earned a nomination for the PFA League Two Fans' Player of the Month.

Bonham left Brentford for Gillingham on a free transfer in June 2019 and stayed two seasons. He then made another free move, to Stoke City in June 2021, and remained there until January 2026. On 14 January 2026 he joined Bolton Wanderers, again on a free transfer, leaving Stoke before his contract ran out.

At Bolton he has played in the Championship. One match to note was a 0-0 draw against Queens Park Rangers in which he made ten saves. It put him in the EFL Team of the Week.

Before his club career, Bonham was capped five times by the Republic of Ireland Under-17 side between 2009 and 2010. He has not been capped at senior level by England or the Republic of Ireland.
