About the player
The centre-back, born in Lima, started out at Universidad San Martín de Porres, where he spent three and a half seasons and made around 25 to 30 appearances before leaving in November 2021.
A free transfer took him to Atlético Grau that December, and a similar pattern has repeated itself ever since: Cavagna moved to Deportivo Municipal in January 2023, staying almost two years and making over 30 appearances, then returned to Atlético Grau for a second spell in January 2025. In January 2026 he joined UTC Cajamarca, where he now wears the number 6 shirt.
