Filip Lissah

Filip Lissah was named Falkirk's Young Player of the Year for 2025–26. He had arrived in Scotland only that September, on a season-long free loan from Swansea City. He made 31 appearances in all competitions and scored twice. The first goal came on 3 January 2026 and was the only one of the match, a 1–0 win against Aberdeen.

Lissah came to Falkirk with a background in two English academies. He joined Chelsea's at the age of eight and stayed until 2021. That summer he moved to Swansea City on a free transfer. He signed his first professional contract there in December 2022 and extended it in March 2024 until 2027.

His senior debut for Swansea came on 25 January 2024 in an FA Cup tie against Bournemouth, which Swansea lost 5–0. The same year he captained Swansea's Under-21 side to the final of the Nathaniel MG Cup.

Lissah was born in London and holds Czech citizenship, and he plays for the Czech Republic at youth level. His under-21 debut came on 27 March 2026 in a European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Scotland, which finished 0–0. It was a fitting fixture for a player who had spent the season in the Scottish Premiership. By the end of that month he had won two caps.
