Joshua Lewis Tymon

Josh Tymon was named in the EFL Championship Team of the Season for 2025–26.

He started out in Sunday league football with Pelican United, Pinefleet and Skirlaugh, and joined the Hull City academy in 2011. He made his senior debut for the club in 2016 and played five times. In July 2017 he turned down the contracts Hull put in front of him and moved to Stoke City on a free transfer.

Stoke was where he spent the longest stretch of his career: six years and 106 appearances. It included two spells away. He played nine times on loan at Milton Keynes Dons in 2018, and five times for Famalicão in Portugal a year later.

Success with England came early. Tymon was in the under-20 squad that won the 2017 Toulon Tournament, beating Ivory Coast 5-3 on penalties in the final, and he won five caps at that level. He has also played for England at under-21 level. He has not been capped by the senior side.

In September 2023 he joined Swansea City. The fee was not disclosed; The Sentinel reported it as around £2.7 million. He has since made about 148 appearances for the club in all competitions.
