About the player
Gabriel Debeljuh won the Romanian league twice with CFR Cluj, in 2020–21 and 2021–22, after a season at Hermannstadt in which he scored 12 league goals.
He grew up in Istria and started at NK Rovinj. At 16 or so he went to the youth sector at Torino, where he stayed for three years. His first senior contracts were in Italy, at Piacenza, Mantova and Este, one season with each. Hermannstadt in 2019 was his first club in Romania.
At CFR Cluj he played 72 league matches and scored 24 goals. Alongside the two league titles he won the Supercupa României in 2020. He stayed with Sepsi until January 2026.
He then signed for Oțelul Galați on a contract running to the end of June 2026, with an option to extend. He played 15 matches for the club without scoring. By September he had played seven matches for them and scored twice.
Debeljuh has played for Croatia at U19 and U21 level. He has not been capped by the senior national team.
