J. Luker

Jayden Luker was part of the Notts County side that beat Salford City 3–0 in the 2026 League Two play-off final to win promotion. He played 68 minutes of that match. He was on loan from Luton Town for the season, and he had already scored in the semi-final against Chesterfield.

Luker's route to the professional game began in south London, at Lambeth Tigers, where he played from under-7 level until 2022. He then spent the 2021–22 season with ProDirect Academy. His performances against Luton Town there led to a move to Luton's academy in July 2022. He signed his first professional contract in January 2023, and Luton extended it that November.

He has not yet played a senior league match for Luton. His senior career so far has been a series of season-long loans. At Woking, from January to June 2024, he made 17 National League appearances and scored twice. He moved to Grimsby Town for 2024–25 and played 22 League Two games, scoring three goals, and appeared once in the FA Cup.

Notts County took him on loan in July 2025. He made 12 League Two appearances and scored twice, and he also played in the EFL Trophy. His three play-off appearances, and the goal against Chesterfield, came in the final weeks of the campaign.

Luker plays in central or attacking midfield. Match data from the 2025–26 season records his shots and goals with his left foot. He has not played for England at senior level.
