Jonathan Tomkinson

Jonathan Tomkinson signed his first professional contract with Norwich City in January 2022. A longer stint at Bradford City brought 23 League Two appearances, and a move north to Ross County gave him a taste of Scottish Premiership football with 13 appearances.

None of that translated into a regular role back at Norwich, where he made just three senior appearances — one in the Championship, two in the EFL Cup — before he was released in April 2025. He signed for Cheltenham Town as a free agent in October 2025 and quickly established himself there, going on to make 42 appearances and score once.

Born in Plano, Texas, Tomkinson has represented the United States at youth level, with caps at Under-17 and Under-20 stage before a run of seven appearances for the Under-23s across 2023 and 2024. That involved training-camp involvement around the Olympic setup, though he did not make the squad for the Paris Games. He has not been called up to the senior USA side.
