Robbie Cundy

Robbie Cundy came through the Aston Villa academy before moving on to Oxford United, where he signed his first professional contract in 2015 but never made a senior league appearance for the club. Instead, his development ran through a string of loans — Daventry Town, Gloucester City, Oxford City and Southport — and it was during that spell at Gloucester City, in February 2016, that he was named National League North Player of the Month.

Released by Oxford in 2017, Cundy joined Gloucester City permanently before a move to Bath City the following year: in the 2018–19 season he swept all three of the club's major honours, winning the Supporters' Player of the Year, Players' Player of the Year and Manager's Player of the Year awards in the same campaign. A red card picked up against Chelmsford City during that spell was later rescinded on appeal.

A move to Bristol City in 2019 took him back into the Football League, though first-team opportunities were limited and he was loaned out repeatedly, to Exeter City, Torquay United, Cambridge United and Gillingham. The loan at Cambridge United brought his biggest team honour: promotion as champions of League Two in 2020–21.

Spells at Barnsley and Notts County followed, the latter including a further loan at Solihull Moors, before Cundy signed for Cheltenham Town on a free transfer in the summer of 2025 on a two-year contract. He has not scored in his league appearances for the club so far.
