About the player
Ivelj made her senior debut for Grasshopper Club Zurich in 2022, aged just 15, having come up through the club's academy after starting out at FC Dietikon and spending time with the boys' side at Young Fellows Juventus. In June 2025 she moved to Eintracht Frankfurt Women , signing a contract until 2028 and taking the number 4 shirt in the Frauen-Bundesliga.
Born in Switzerland to a Croatian father and a Serbian mother, Ivelj chose to represent the Swiss national team. She won her first cap on 26 September 2023 against Spain and has since gone on to earn 12 caps and score one goal for Switzerland, with appearances spread across the Nations League, friendlies and Euro 2025 qualifying.
She was named in the Swiss squad for UEFA Women's Euro 2025. She featured in two of the team's matches: the opening group game against Norway, lost 0-2, and the quarter-final against Spain, also lost 0-2.
A right-footed midfielder who can also play in defence, Ivelj stands 1.71 m tall.
