Óscar Rivas Viondi

Óscar Rivas came through Atlético Madrid's academy before finishing his youth football at Getafe. He made his professional debut at CD Móstoles URJC, then moved on a free transfer to AD Alcorcón, where he spent his first season with the reserves in Tercera División RFEF before earning a place in the first team. His breakthrough there came in the Copa del Rey, and he went on to renew his contract.

In July 2024 Rivas made the move abroad, joining Vitória de Guimarães on a free transfer after his deal at Alcorcón had run its course, signing a four-year contract with the Portuguese side.

At Guimarães he became part of a squad that lifted the Taça da Liga, contributing across the competition's earlier rounds, including the quarter-final against Porto, though he was not involved in the final itself, in which Vitória beat Sporting de Braga. It stands as the first major team honour of his career, arriving less than two years after he left Spain's lower leagues behind. Standing at 193 cm, he offers his side a physical presence at the back.
