Three titles in Akritas Chlorakas's history all carry the same name: Cypriot Third Division champions, in 1976–77, 2008–09 and 2015–16. Add a Cypriot Cup for Lower Divisions in 2014–15.
Two promotions to the Cypriot First Division, in 2022 and in 2025, both ended the same way: relegation after a single season back down. The 2024–25 promotion came under Jason Puncheon, the former England international who took charge as head coach and resigned once licensing issues intervened rather than seeing out the top flight.
Because their own Chloraka Municipal Stadium, with room for 3,500, falls short of First Division requirements, Akritas Chlorakas have had to relocate for their spells in the top tier, playing out of the Stelios Kyriakides Stadium in Paphos instead, a ground that holds 9,394.
The local rivalry with Digenis Akritas Morphou has been shaped in the Second Division, where the two Paphos-district sides have met repeatedly over the years. Among those who have wound up at Chloraka is Anthony Limbombe, the Belgian international winger who joined in 2026, while Sasa Jovanovic, the Serbian who played out his career there until retiring in 2009, stayed on to begin coaching at the club.
