FUS Rabat

Mourad Batna's name sits at the top of FUS Rabat's scoring charts with 49 goals, but it is Mohamed Zouidi that supporters in Rabat reach for when the conversation turns to 2010: his was the winning goal that beat CS Sfaxien in the CAF Confederation Cup final, sealed with a goalless draw away and a 3-2 win at home. That trophy remains the club's only continental title, and it arrived only seven years after FUS had dropped out of the top division altogether, in 2003.

Fath Union Sport was not built as a football club first. Moroccan nationalists founded it on 10 April 1946 as an omnisports organisation, carrying on from the Union Musulmane de Rabat-Salé, which had existed since 1932, and Prince Moulay Abdallah lent the project his name as honorary president.

El Mehdi El Bassil holds the appearance record at FUS with 208 games. Both clubs share Rabat as a base, and FUS now plays its own matches at the Stade Moulay Hassan, rebuilt and reopened in 2025 with room for 22,000 inside it.
