Port FC

The Port Authority of Thailand set up the club in 1967, and ownership has stayed with the Port Authority ever since, alongside Muang Thai Insurance. Major Prachuap Suntranakul, then the authority's director, put it together. Nualphan Lamsam, known to supporters as "Madam Pang", chaired the club from 2015 until 2023, when Chalermchoke Lamsam succeeded her.

For a stretch through the 1970s and into 1990, Port collected domestic cups almost as a matter of routine: eight Kor Royal Cups between 1968 and 1990, six Queen's Cups between 1977 and 1993. What never followed was the league title itself — the closest came in 1999, when they finished runners-up, a gap that a second runner-up finish in 2025–26 has done nothing to close. The FA Cup did arrive twice, in 2009 on Pipat Thonkanya's decisive penalty and in 2019 through a winning goal from Sergio Suarez.

Matches against Muangthong United carry weight beyond the usual Bangkok Derby billing with Bangkok United and BG Pathum United; the 2009 Kor Royal Cup stampede left a mark on that particular fixture that has not faded. At home, Port play at PAT Stadium in Khlong Toei, a ground that holds a fraction of what some of these derby crowds could fill.

Port head into the new season still chasing the one trophy the club's history has never produced, carrying a Thai League Cup won at the turn of 2026 as the freshest sign of their current standing.
