In the 1977/78 season the club topped its group in the ČNFL, the country's second tier, only for the result to be struck down once it was traced to match-fixing.

FC Sellier & Bellot Vlašim won the Česká fotbalová liga that season and returned to the second flight after 29 years away.

Those campaigns sit either side of a longer run of lower-division titles stretching back to 1965, won by a side founded in 1922 and renamed more than once along the way: Spartak Vlašim under the Communist sports structure from 1953, FC Graffin Vlašim after a 2006 merger with FK Graffin Kácov, and the current name taken in 2016.

Games are played at the Stadion v Kollárově ulici, a ground holding 1,200 people, 936 of them seated.
