Eley Gambone

Boston Legacy were a goal down to Orlando Pride on 12 May 2026 when Eley Gambone levelled the match in the 72nd minute. It was her first goal in the NWSL, Boston closed the game out to win 2–1, and she was named player of the match. It came in her eighth appearance of the club's first league season.

She began playing at five with the Southwestern Youth Association in Virginia, then spent four years at McLean Soccer in the ECNL, captaining the side and winning the U-18/19 championship in 2018. The United States called her into their under-18 and under-19 squads in 2017 and 2018.

At North Carolina she played 85 matches across four seasons and scored twice.

Her first professional contract took her to Fortuna Hjørring in Denmark in early 2023, where she played five league matches. Glasgow City is where the output changed. In 2023/24 she made 30 appearances in all competitions, scoring six goals and adding three assists. The following season she played 31 league matches, scored four and set up seven. Players and coaches at the club voted her Glasgow City's player of the year, and PFA Scotland named her in its team of the season.

She signed for Boston on 11 August 2025.
