Josefine Hasbo

She played four years of college football at Harvard. Hasbo left Brøndby IF in 2021 with 52 appearances, 11 goals and the 2019 Danish championship behind her, then crossed the Atlantic to the Crimson.

In 2023 she won the Ivy League title, was named the conference tournament's most valuable player, made the All-America first team and reached the semi-final stage of the MAC Hermann Trophy voting. She had been on the radar in Denmark long before that: a place in the league's team of the year for 2019–20 and a nomination for Danish Footballer of the Year in the same season.

Gotham FC signed her on 10 June 2025. She made 15 appearances, scored once and finished the season as an NWSL champion. In February 2026 Gotham traded her to Boston Legacy FC for $50,000 in allocation money, and she debuted for the club on 14 March. Her contract runs to the end of 2028. Through June 2026 she had 16 matches for Boston and no goals.

For Denmark she has 40 caps and three goals, the first against Montenegro in September 2022 during 2023 World Cup qualifying, then one against Norway at the Tournoi de France and one against the Czech Republic in Euro 2025 qualifying. She played four group matches and the last-16 tie at the 2023 World Cup, and three group games at Euro 2025. She was part of the side that qualified for the 2027 World Cup.
