Charly Keita

The move that put Charly Keïta on the accounts of clubs beyond France came in Belgium: with Beerschot VA he won the Challenger Pro League in the 2023–24 season, and the club went up to the Belgian Pro League with him in the squad. He had arrived there on a free transfer on 1 August 2023.

Before that, the route was a French one. Keïta came through Pau FC , spending two seasons with the reserve side from 2019, and was promoted to the first team in September 2021. His debut followed in December of that year. It did not lead to a long stay: by January 2022 he had joined CS Sedan Ardennes , and a year later he signed for Clermont Foot 63 , again without a fee. That spell brought a loan to FC Biel-Bienne for the remainder of the 2022–23 season.

The Belgian title changed his market standing. On 31 January 2025 Amedspor paid €300,000 for him. The stay in Turkey was brief. He left in September 2025 for IMT Novi Beograd .

Born in Yopougon , Keïta holds both French and Ivorian citizenship.
