Vasily Novichich

In early October 2024, at 16, Vasilije Novičić signed his first professional contract with IMT Novi Beograd — three months after arriving at the club as a free agent. He had been at IMT since July 2024.

The route there was short. Novičić came through the youth ranks at FK Kosmet Leposavić, staying until 2023, then spent a single season at FK Ole between July 2023 and July 2024. Every move was a free transfer; no fee changed hands at any stage.

The international record has built up faster than the club one. Novičić has six caps for Serbia U17 across 2024 and 2025, one for the U18 side in 2025, and twelve for the U19s in 2025 and 2026. He has not scored in any of those age groups. In March 2026 he was called into the senior national team's training camp, though he has yet to make his debut.

What has followed is less settled. Reports in 2026 linked Arsenal with a €7 million offer for the midfielder, said to be ahead of bids of €5 million from Red Star Belgrade and Hoffenheim. Nothing has been signed: the interest is reported rather than concluded, and Novičić remains an IMT player wearing the number 22. His weight and preferred foot do not appear in any club or federation record.
