Dario Špikić

Špikić has spent most of his career inside Croatia's two biggest clubs. He joined Dinamo Zagreb's youth system in 2007, after a first spell at NK Kurilovec. He was still there a decade later, working through the age groups and turning out for the second team, Dinamo Zagreb II, between 2016 and 2018.

The move to Hajduk Split in 2017 did not change much. He was registered with the club until 2020, but the bulk of that period was spent on loan or with Hajduk Split II, whose fixtures filled his 2018–20 seasons.

What followed was the part that mattered. Dinamo brought him back in 2021, and this time he established himself in the first team. In 2021/22 he won the Croatian championship with the club, the first senior title of a career that had until then been measured in reserve-team appearances.

He has represented Croatia at every youth level without reaching the senior side: five matches and two goals at under-17, eight and three at under-19, two and one at under-20, and ten appearances with two goals for the under-21s.

The Dinamo chapter closed in 2025, when he moved on loan to Aris Thessaloniki in Greece. From there he joined Rio Ave, wearing the number 77 he carried in Zagreb.
