Dorinel Oancea

Nine years after he first signed for FC Argeș Pitești, Dorinel Oancea came back to the club on a free transfer in July 2025 — the fourth free move of a career in which he has never once been bought or sold.

The right-back grew up in the game at Sporting Câmpulung and at the Colegiul Național Dinicu Golescu, and turned senior at ACS ARO Muscelul Câmpulung in 2015. A year later Argeș took him. He started in the reserve side, SCM Pitești, which won Seria a III-a of Liga III in 2016–17 and went up to Liga II; his own senior debut for Argeș followed in Liga II the next season. In four years he made around 49 first-team appearances and scored twice.

September 2020 took him to CS Mioveni, where he stayed until January 2023 and played roughly 84 matches, scoring once.

The move to Universitatea Cluj in January 2023 made him a regular: 75 appearances and a goal. He was in the squad that reached the final of the Cupa României in 2022–23, beaten on penalties by Sepsi OSK, and he set up a goal in the quarter-final against Hermannstadt. In 2024–25 Cluj finished fourth in Liga I and qualified for the Conference League — the club's first European football in 53 years.

He has not been capped by Romania at senior level.
