Emil Nestved Kornvig

The number 10 shirt at Brann came with expectations. He scored against PAOK and Rangers in the Europa League and again in Champions League qualifying, finishing with four European goals for the club.

He started out in the youth ranks at F.C. Copenhagen before joining Lyngby's academy in 2016, and was promoted to the first team in 2020. Across his time there he made 24 league appearances without scoring. The move to Spezia in July 2021 did not bring Italian football closer: he spent the next two seasons out on loan, first back home at SønderjyskE, where he scored twice in 23 league games, then at Cosenza, where he managed one goal in 14. A free transfer to Cittadella in August 2023 yielded 12 league appearances.

Brann paid a reported €400,000 for him in February 2024, and the attacking midfielder settled quickly. He played 30 matches in his first Eliteserien season, scoring five and setting up one as the club finished runners-up and qualified for the Champions League. Eight goals and three assists in 29 appearances followed. By early 2026 he had 13 league goals for Brann.

Widzew Łódź signed him in January 2026 for a fee reported between €2.3 million and €3.0 million. He had made 15 league appearances and scored twice by May.

Kornvig has played for Denmark at youth level — three caps for the under-17s in 2016, two for the under-20s in 2021, with a goal against Argentina's under-23 side.
