Guzmán Rodríguez Ferrari

Guzmán Rodríguez Ferrari built his career in the Uruguayan lower divisions before finding a defined role. He came through River Plate Montevideo, where he spent two seasons and made 39 appearances, then moved to Boston River in 2021 and became a regular there, featuring in 85 matches and scoring twice — a rare return for a defender, and a sign the club trusted him further up the pitch than his position usually allows.

That level of use at Boston River set up his move to Peñarol in January 2024, a transfer reported in the region of 3.1 million euros. He arrived at the club shortly after Peñarol's Uruguayan championship campaign and was credited as part of that title-winning squad. His time in Montevideo's colours was brief: within a year, Peñarol sold him on to Brazilian side RB Bragantino for a fee close to 3.9 million euros, with the defender signing a contract running to the end of 2029 — a deal that ties him to the club for the long term.

At Bragantino he has continued to play regularly, with 33 appearances and a goal to his name so far. No individual awards or national team involvement have been documented in his career to date.
