Cleiton Schwengber

Cleiton Schwengber came up through Atlético Mineiro's academy, joining the club's youth ranks in 2013 and working his way to a first-team debut in December 2017 after also spending time in the Marcílio Dias system. He stayed with Atlético Mineiro for three seasons, part of the squad named for the 2017 Minas Gerais state championship, though he did not feature in the final matches.

In February 2020, Schwengber moved to RB Bragantino, where he has worn the number 1 shirt since. The move marked his step into a starting goalkeeper role away from Belo Horizonte, and it was in that shirt that he had his standout campaign: in 2021, Bragantino reached the final of the Copa Sudamericana, and Schwengber played every one of the club's 13 matches across the run.

At youth international level, he was capped three times for Brazil's under-20 side, including an appearance at the 2017 South American Championship, and added five caps for the under-23 side during qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics. A call-up to the senior Brazil squad has not followed.

Schwengber was born in Descanso, in the state of Santa Catarina.
