Tiago Volpi

Tiago Volpi grew up in Blumenau and came through Sao Jose before a loan spell at Luverdense sent him into senior football in earnest. The move that shaped his career came in 2014, when he swapped Figueirense, and a state title with Santa Catarina that year, for Mexico's Queretaro. He spent five seasons there, winning the Mexican Cup and Super Cup, before Sao Paulo brought him home in 2019, initially on loan.

At Sao Paulo he settled as a regular starter and added a state championship in 2021 before returning to Mexico with Toluca in 2022. It was there, in his second spell in the country, that Volpi picked up the biggest trophy of his career, the Liga MX title in the 2024–25 Clausura. Mexico has been the country where Volpi's medal collection has grown fastest, even as his club career kept pulling him back across the Atlantic.

Gremio signed him in 2025, and the goalkeeper added the Recopa Gaucha and the Rio Grande do Sul state championship to his list of honours before moving on again. In January 2026 he joined Red Bull Bragantino as a free agent.

Volpi has never played a full international match for Brazil, though he has said publicly that he would like the call-up. His only representative football has come at youth and development level, with a handful of appearances for the under-20 side and the Olympic squad.
