Kevin Jappert

His first goal for Barracas Central is still argued over. On 1 February 2025, three days after his league debut, Jappert scored the only goal against Banfield — and the officials let it stand although he was offside when the pass was played.

Before that he belonged to Atlético Rafaela , where he came through the youth system and reached the first team early: he was on the pitch on 29 May 2022, in a 2-2 draw with Mitre of Santiago del Estero. A first professional contract followed only on 15 February 2024. In Primera Nacional he played 37 matches and scored four goals, adding two appearances in the Copa Argentina. The club's own trajectory ran the other way — Rafaela were relegated to Federal A in 2024.

Talleres de Córdoba offered 650,000 dollars for 70 per cent of his rights but could not agree buy-out terms with Rafaela. Barracas paid 850,000 dollars for that 70 per cent share.

A goal in a 3-0 friendly against Lanús arrived almost immediately after the transfer, and later in the 2025 Liga Profesional he scored the winner in a 1-0 against Huracán. His market value has since reached 2.30 million euros, drawing interest from Torino and Lecce .
