About the player
Copenhagen-born and of Congolese descent, Kevin N'goyi Tshiembe stepped into senior football at Lyngby BK, where a debut in the Danish Superliga on 11 February 2018 was memorable for the wrong reason: an own goal. He stayed with the club through 2021, a spell that ended in relegation, but had already given him a taste of continental football through a Europa League appearance in 2017.
A move to Brøndby IF followed in August 2021, a transfer that carried a fee in the region of 5 million kroner and brought him a Champions League debut that same year. He remained at the club until 2025.
In February 2025 the defender left for Vålerenga in Norway, agreeing a three-year contract that runs to the end of 2027.
Eligible to represent either Denmark or the Democratic Republic of the Congo at international level, Tshiembe has not yet made a senior debut for either country. His career so far has been built on steady progression through Danish football before testing himself in Norway's top flight with Vålerenga.
